has anyone been? has anyone got anything interesting to say about what looks like a VERY cool place?? i want to go! i need to start planning a trip, but would like to hear more first : )
ok, this isn't a proper post. my life has gone into overdrive... : ( seriously, i have complained a lot about work in the past, i know, but the last week has been hell to the point that i worked out that by wednesday morning i had worked enough hours for it to be friday night. depressing. worse is that right now i am sat in my study doing marketing plans when i have my cardigan sat waiting on the sofa feeling VERY neglected and a baby sweater that still hasn't had all the ends sewn in... the guilt...
i promise i will be back soon to talk about my cardigan that i love, the log cabin blanket (since you asked!) and camping on the isle of wight.
when i get my life back...
in the mean time, do let me know about this i knit london thing!
becks xx

I went for my first visit on Saturday. Not quite as much choice as "Stash" in Putney, but it would be a fab place to got for knitting evenings and it is open late. Lots of Colinette; Artesano Alpaca and Rooster. Some gorgeous Tilli Tomas and the Brittany dpns I was looking for. Gerald was very friendly. I was a bit sad I've just moved away from London!
Becks - where are you - I'm sad we haven't heard from you in ages - come back to blogland we need you !
I Knit's pretty bloody brilliant, the selection isn't as varied as somewhere like Loop in Angel, but Gerard is so lovely and it's such a cosy place to sit and chat and knock out another few rows. Definitely worth the trip. They've got a bi-weekly pub crawl, this Wednesday it's somewhere in Soho. I've always been too busy, but it seems like a giggle.
